Abstract
The thesis deals with the topic "Implementation of the MOSAIC concept in the conditions of the Czech Republic", which regulates the rules of flight for ULL pilots and allows flying on general aviation aircraft used mainly for PPL training. The theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to the MOSAIC concept and the changes that will occur as part of its implementation into practice according to the FAA. Furthermore, the theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the Czech legislation dealing with the operation of sports flying devices, which the new concept may affect. The rules of the MOSAIC concept are compared with the current Czech legislation and changes that would be necessary to adopt when implementing the new concept in the conditions of the Czech Republic are proposed. The practical part of the thesis is devoted to the selection of a suitable aircraft using multi-criteria decision-making according to the specifics of the MOSAIC concept. Based on the selection of the aircraft, an economic analysis of the operation of the selected aircraft for the training of ULL and PPL pilots is performed. The aim of the work is to evaluate the possibilities of implementing the MOSAIC concept in the conditions of Czech flight schools considering starting practical training for pilots of light and ultralight aircraft.
