Abstract

This thesis is dedicated to the competitiveness of the firm. The aim was to base the previous analysis determine whether the company would be worthwhile to enter the czech market and whether it will be able to succeed in this market. Furthermore through analysis of internal strengths and weaknesses of the firm and external opportunities and threats to propose measures that would lead to increased competitiveness. The thesis is divided into several parts. The first part defines the theoretical and methodological issues. The second chapter is dedicated to the characteristics of the company. Then analytical part, where we use different methods for evaluating the competitiveness of the company. The fourth and final chapterde scribes the reasons why the firm should enter to the domestic market. There are designed specific strategies that the company could apply to the czech market and other proposals, which should contribute to increasing competitiveness.
