Abstract

This thesis is about the optimization of engineering production. It contains a summary of key findings from the rationalization of production, application anduse of lean production opportunities in contemporary company. Great attention isgiven to the simulation methods and their use in optimization of manufacturing processes. It is proposed new method for the rational allocation of jobs, whichaims to increase productivity, reduce production time and efficient use of of workers. These are described the basic principles and an example of application. The simulation program Simprocess model was constructed manufacturing process in which the new method was tested. The results show the advantages and shortcomings of the method.
