Abstract

Every establishment, and not only companies, must have one basic ability – to innovate. Innovation introduces changing the knowledge into new products, technologies and services. It is not one-off affair but unceasing reaction to changing circumstances and environment. One of the latest innovations in the companies´ inter-relationships is utilization of the supply potential and transition from simple shopping to systemic development of mutually beneficial relations or partnership between the customer and the suppliers. The dissertation is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. There were employed resources in the form of literary research in the theoretical part where each chapter deals with the actual state of the problem solved. The objective was not a simple extract from someone´s publication but individual knowledge to consolidate, organize and offer holistic view in as systematic way as possible of the newest trends from the area of partnership cooperation in supply chains. In the practical part, there is at first introduced the main goal of the research, i.e. stating critical factors of success of mutual cooperation between the customer and the supplier. Follows a definition of partial and secondary goals of the work or an analysis of critical factors with respect to the system of management of the quality, the type of partnership and the company environment. The analysis of the type of partnership in connection with individual approaches of the system of quality management and environment of the company. Also an analysis of the weight of individual critical factors. On the basis of these objectives, there were defined working hypotheses and constructed its own model of research. Using descriptive statistics, factor analysis, simple and multiple regression, the stated hypotheses were then verified or falsified. Objective of this thesis was to contribute to deepening knowledge about partnership in the supply chain and stating critical factors of mutual cooperation both on theoretical and practical level.
