Návrh možností přestavby přístrojového vybavení letounů na glass cockpit

Abstract

Bachelor thesis deals with options of retrofitting traditional analog instrumentation with a modern "glass cockpit" system in Cessna 172 and Zlin-42 aircraft. The main objective of the thesis is to analyse options and financial aspects of such retrofit. The theoretical summarizes the EASA legislative requirements for aircraft instruments, systems, and their modifications. The practical part focuses on technical requirements of the installation, electrical wiring, compatibility with navigation systems, and an economic evaluation of the entire modernization. The output of the thesis is comprehensive recommendation that can serve as a basis for the selection for choosing a suitable system for given aircraft.
