Abstract

Bachelor thesis called Flexibility and Security on the Labour Market in Conditions of the Czech Republic is focused on the concept of flexicurity, which is an effective combination of flexibility and security, through which it can achieved low unemployment, healthy and generous social benefits and other labor market advantages. Examining the pillars of flexicurity, which are the cornerstones on which the concept is built, in the institutional environment of the Czech labor market, and compares it with other countries. Next, the thesis deals with the components and pathways of flexicurity, which proposed the European Commission, which should serve as a guideline to improve the situation on European labor markets. EU member countries are faced different problems, therefore, each country should consider their situation and choose their own path to flexicurity. Problem areas of the Czech labor market are discussed in the individual pillars.
