Abstract
This diploma work deals with design of racking quality parameters of cutting edge preparation during cutting inserts production of VBD blades. The first part of the work describes the overall microgeometry of the blades of this cutting tool. The next part focusses on the possibilities mechanical preparations of tools cutting edge. The experimental part of this work was carried out in Dormer Pramet, s.r.o.and attention was concentrated on measuring the individual parameters of a rounded edge: roughness, shape of edge, and size. These values were measured for two devices, the Mahr MarSurf XCR 20 and the Alicona InfiniteFocus G5 which were then evaluated and the values for size and rounded blade shape were compared.
