Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with the thermal stress of the mechanical components, where is the dominant heat transfer mechanism assisted by heat conduction. In this work is done the comparison of the analytical calculation with the finite element method on the thick-walled tubes. In the main part of the work is investigated the effect of thermal stress of the furnace shell for several design variants. The calculations are performed in commercial software ANSYS Workbench and COMSOL Multiphysics. The results are compared with the limit state of elasticity and deformation.
