Abstract

This master thesis deals with the rear car seats lock dynamic analysis. This analysis simulates the crash test of a car, in which great forces apply to the rear car seats lock. In three to each other perpendicular directions is determined how great force will destroy the rear car seats lock. The main aim of this master thesis is to find out critical regions of the rear car seats lock and propose suitable improvements to increase its dynamic capacity. The next aim of thesis is to make a research of contemporary rear car seats locks and study explicit numerical method. All analyses are solved with computer modeling using the finite element method in module „Explicit Dynamics“ in software ANSYS Workbench.
