Abstract

The thesis is concerned with one of the most important personnel decision making process, recruitment and personnel selection. The first part focuses on the description of the theoretical knowledge gained from literature. There are defined concepts, methods, and procedures the issue. The second part characterizes selected company described its business area and there is a detailed analysis of the company employees. This section also focuses on the current system of recruitment and selection of staff. The final section includes proposed amendments and recommendations in selected areas that will improve the efficiency of the system.
