Abstract
The bachelor thesis deals with the design of the communication interface subsystem for the K3P4 rover. The requirement sheet was partly created by the competition rules and partly by the RoverOva team. At the beginning of the thesis, a search is made on the communication subsystem of other teams and then on the RoverOva team. Then the work deals with the locking mechanisms of the extension profiles. From this knowledge, three variants of the mechanism for locking the pull-out profile and three variants for the router unit pivot mechanism were developed. Two different comparison methods were used to select the optimal variants. The winning variants were combined and the entire subsystem was graphically modified and developed in PTC Creo 7.0. Subsequently, a static calculation check of the telescopic column profiles was performed. At the end of the work, a price evaluation and drawings of the telescopic column assembly were prepared.
