Abstract

This work deals with a transparent water-based coating system supplied from the Russian Federation, with a low VOC substances. The task of the thesis is to design a workplace for the paint coating system. Emphasis is placed on corrosion and technological properties of the coating system. The theoretical part deals with the current condition of coatings and applications of these systems, conveyor systems, for example paint line and paint workplace. The experimental part is focused on the reciprocal adhesion of coating films, the determination of dry film thickness and design of two alternative solutions of the paint workplace project, which are compared and evaluated each other.
