Abstract
Master thesis consists of two parts. The first part describes creep resistant steels, mostly steel P92. Thermal cycles of welding and heat affected zones of the welds are described in the end of the theoretical part. Simulation of TIG welding thermal cycles on steel P92 samples is the goal of the experimental part. Modeled thermal cycles correspond to the fine grained zone of the heat affected zone. The samples with the same simulated thermal cycle of welding and with different heat treatment were subjected to mechanical tests and microstructural analysis. The evaluations of results of mechanical tests and microstructural analysis is contained in the end of the thesis.
