Kogenerace energie s pístovými spalovacími motory

Abstract

This thesis focuses on the possibility of using the pyrolysis gases from selected materials for driving the internal combustion engine of cogeneration unit. The first part of this work includes the chemical composition and the most significant unwanted sulfur, chlorine and nitrogen compounds in the considered pyrolysis gases. Also the measured and supplemented values of tars occurring in various gases are listed. On the basis of these gases are described technologies for the removal of undesirable substances with the final draft of optimal cleaning line for the pyrolysis gases. Than, are for pyrolysis gases determined by calculating the important physical - chemical and combustion properties to obtain more detailed ideas about these gases compared with natural gas, as one of the most used gaseous fuels. These features provide more information about restricting and limiting parameters for the use of pyrolysis gases in the combustion engine. The last part of this work is focused on the calculation of the idealized thermal cycle of the engine, the essential characteristics and performance parameters of cycle, consumption of the pyrolysis gases and other comparative indicators of the working cycle.
