Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with the verification of the accuracy of wedge probe for air velocity measurement. In the theoretical part of the thesis, the procedure for determining the measurement uncertainty is presented. Additionally, the principles of fluid velocity measurement and their classifications are described. In the practical part, the wedge probe is introduced, advantages of use of wedge probe are presented and the process of measurement for calibration of the probe is described. In the end, the results of air velocity measurements made with the wedge probe and the Prandtl tube are compared, and the coefficient of correction for values measured with the wedge probe is determined.
