Simulační model tramvajového obratiště Poruba Vřesinská

Abstract

The content of the diploma thesis is the design of a traffic simulation model at the tram loop Poruba Vřesinská in Ostrava using the simulation software Witness. The thesis analyzes the technological aspects of the tram terminal in real operation, based on which a simulation model is created in the Witness software. The aim of the simulation model is to eliminate random delays in tram arrivals at the tram loop by using extraordinary tram movements to sidings or other tracks. The thesis also describes the creation and functioning principle of the simulation model in the Witness program. Experiments are conducted with the proposed simulation model, which are evaluated at the end.
