Abstract

The purpose of this thesis is design and calculation of Operator cab lifting of bucket wheel excavator KK-550 type. The first part is familiar with today Operator cab lifting for existing bucket wheel excavators. Next part describes basic structural units of wheel excavator KK-550. Next chapter is devoted to options proposed for lifting wheel excavator KK-550 and selecting the best of them. After that it is followed by an appropriate option for the selected strength and kinematic analysis. The calculation includes the cab load analysis, deals with the choice of transmissions, electric motor and clutch, checking of rope drum shell, drum shaft, choosed bearings, operating speed and in conclusion brake check.
