Abstract

This thesis describes design of the existing travelling cab for outdoor overhead crane for sheet pile handling with a load capacity 6500 kg. One of the components of travelling cab is a crane beam with telescopic arms and elektromagnets. Lifting gear contains asynchronous electric engine, brake, clutch and gearbox that rotates the driven shaft with a mounted rope drum. Thesis included design of elements of the rope system (rope, rope drum, rollers), chain system and designs for lifting and runnig gear (engine, gerbox, clutch, brake). The work also contains some strength calculations. The drawing is a part of thesis.
