Aleš Vysocký, Ph.D. The diploma thesis deals with the possibilities of automation of a manual station, where operators apply glue to individual sheets of the car body and then put them into the production process. Once set up, the parts are clipped by the operators and robotic welding follows. The task of this work is to at least partially automate this process and propose a suitable solution. The work contains a detailed description of the current solution and describe the various technologies. Two possible ways to automate the whole process were proposed, one of which was selected on the basis of selected criteria. The selected solution is elaborated in detail here.
