Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with the commissioning of the FM50 and FM51 demonstration units. The introduction describes the centrifugal pump itself, its principle of operation, its function in the pumping system and the associated performance parameters and their similarity determined by means of kinematic laws in the impeller and then affine laws. Furthermore, the change of pump characteristics by speed control is presented, as well as the control by means of the cooperation of two pumps in parallel and in series. To introduce the practical part, the current states and functions of the two demonstration units and the subsequent commissioning of the damaged FM50 device are described. After the commissioning of both stands, all control measurements were carried out, the results of which are charted in this thesis.
