Abstract

This work focuses on sewage from the dairy industry. In the first part it deals with sewage in general. It also deals with technologies used in wastewater treatment. A substantial part is devoted to waste water from the dairy industry. It´s about the origin of the quality and the quantity of these waters. It tackles the issue of influx imbalance, unstable quality and high content of organic pollution caused mainly by fats. The practical part consists of the design of a specific sewage treatment plant for the dairy plant. In the framework of the work is proposed a block diagram of the technological line of dairy WWTP. According to the block diagram, the necessary equipment and methods necessary for handling these waters are selected. By combining the devices with the cleaning procedure from the proposed block diagram, a specific technological line is proposed, covering all facilities, purification processes and transport modes of individual media.
