Abstract

The content of the thesis is a design of a cold water transport for a mining central air conditioning. The work includes the theory and design. The theoretical part deals with the problem of the cold water transport to the mine, comparing the options and explaining the principle of the pressure exchange system. The design part was suggested and supported by calculations of the transport system. A pipeline to the mine, its isolation, the primary circuit pump, pressure exchange system parameters, hydraulic circuit controlling valve of pressure exchange system according to the proposed time diagram, specifications of selected elements, the heat transfer inside the pressure exchange system, example of calculation of the amount of cooled air to the selected temperatures, cooling output, etc. were suggested.
