Abstract
The thesis focuses on the numerical simulation of superheated steam flow in a piping system using a Zanker plate rectifier and cross-sectional flow meter. The aim is to analyze the effect of different configurations of the straightener and the twist generating device on the flow coefficient and the homogeneity of the flow downstream of the straightener. The modelling was carried out in Autodesk Inventor software and simulations were performed in Ansys Fluent environment. The work includes calculation of input parameters, geometry creation, simulation setup and monitoring of key variables.
