Abstract

The theme of my thesis is a construction design of a machine that moves pieces of heavy equipment which is one of the main machine nodes excavators, bucket wheel stackers or loaders deployed in the extraction on the strip mines. In the first part of the thesis I have created an overview of used types of chassis, basic division, a description of construction and operating principles The main task of my bachelor thesis is to create a construction design of a large-scale excavator walking undercarriage weighing 3,000 tons. Design solutions based on the concept walking straightforward chassis with four hydraulic motors. In the following chapter of my thesis I analyzed the load slides on the mat and the basic calculation of the horizontal cylinder, which is determined by the parameters of the proposed specification chassis.
