Abstract
This thesis is dealing with the situation of Czech Airlines at the present and aircraft designs for a regional carrier with a capacity of 50 passengers. The first part describes the current situation of airlines, their current fleet and criteria for selection of aircraft in their fleet. The second part is devoted for the selection of aircraft for regional carrier based on multi-criteria analysis and final assessment of the appropriate airplane.
