Abstract

This bachelor thesis describes the design of a pneumatic drive unit a commercially available mixer. In the introduction is made familiarization with different types of mixers construction, division, advantages and disadvantages. It is also prepared an overview of some mixers available on the market and made a choice of one of them. The next section dealt with the selection of suitable pneumatic drive unit and method of transmitting torque to the drum. In the last part of the thesis is made proposal and calculation of belt drive. Drawings of all proposed sections are included in annex of the thesis.
