Abstract

The Sigma-Delta analog to digital converter is an over-sampled converter that provides high resolution and flexibility in converting low bandwidth signals. The internal process of conversion of the converter is processed to understand the conversion of a constant voltage to a digital signal. By using the method of Allan deviation, the frequency stability of the converter is determined. The frequency response of the anti-aliasing filter is measured and processed to determine the efficiency of the converter.
