Aim of the baccalaureate work was create computing program solution trusses using the finite element method. Working with the theory of trusses. It is also at work described the basic theory of finite element methods.

On the basis of the theory was created its own program in the mathematical program MATLAB, for analysis of trusses. To create a final element network was used program ANSYS.

The program is tested on the example and the results are compared with analytical solutions.
