Abstract

The bachelor thesis summarizes the machining and properties of 180 mm axle frame electromotor from EN1561 EN-GJL-200 gray cast iron on the HWACHEON HMT500 CNC carousel. The following describes the old and new method of the bending process on this machine. The analysis of the new design of clamping jaws with the use of independent clamping segments and long tools has provided insights into the full use of the CNC machining machine. Measurement of perpendicularity and cohesiveness of machined skeleton revealed differences in technological machining methods. Clamping at the lowest possible points of the skeleton using the support pillars resulted in the removal of the transition to the work surface. The ultimate recommendation of a more suitable machining technology was clear for machining on the clamps with lower clamping.
