Uplatnění modelu Common Assessment Framework ve veřejném sektoru v zemích Evropské unie

Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with an issue of application of Common Assessment Framework model in a public sector of the European Union member countries. The theoretical part of this thesis is focused on quality management in a public sector. It characterizes the public sector and delineates its efficiency and quality. Then, it clarifies basic terminology concerning quality management including its historical development and an approach of TQM. The thesis is also concerned with a description of selected methods of quality management applied in public sector organizations. The next part of this diploma thesis characterizes CAF model in more detail. It describes a history of this model, its purpose, a structure, a process of evaluation and its implementation. The practical part deals with an evaluation of CAF model used in the European Union member countries.
