Abstract
This thesis deals with use of e-auctions in the practice of purchasing and tenders for the B2B market. The essence of these e-auctions is interactive negotiation of price and other supply conditions with suppliers by using the Internet. The first section deals with auctions and e-auctions themselves and with e-auction´s systems and benefits. There is also description of the company in which the thesis is processed. The second part describes purchase activities, marketing, shopping marketing and its principles and tools. The third part is devoted to description of research methods. The fourth part deals with the marketing research itself and the results of research are presented here in graphs and percentage. The last fifth part contains a recommendations and proposals which could bring benefits for the society.
