Abstract

Bc. KLIMŠA, D. Deburring Tool for Trimming Machine: Diploma Thesis.VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Produciton Machines and Design, 2019, 93 pg. Thesis head: Ing. Hapla, Tomáš The diploma thesis deals with the construction design of the device for increasing the quality of the deburred edge of the semi- finished rim product, which has the shape of a hollow cone and it is neessesary for following production of rims for steel disc wheels. Due to its irregular shape, its edge is badly deburred and sharp swarfs are created which can be subject to customer complaints. The first design solves the problem of scraping off the sharp swarf from the unevenly deburred edge of the FF flare. The device is called Finisher. It is an extension of the deburring head of the HABSS 520 trimming machine, on which these FF flares are deburred. The prototype of Finisher is mounted on the deburring head and consists of the base, swing arm and scraper blade. The prototype was subsequently improved after it had been tested on the machine. The second approach to solving the problem deals with complete reconstruction of the deburring device. Prototypes of deburring heads have been designed with linear and swiveling holder of indexable inserts. The version with linear motion and guide roll was elaborated in detail.
