Abstract

The Batchelor Thesis deals with hiring and adaptation of the employees in ŠKODA VAGONKA, a.s. The target of this thesis is to analyze the present stage of the human resources and to define proposals to improve given organization. The first part deals with a name and characterized symbols of human resources management and human recourses department. An integral part of the human recourses department are obtaining, selecting, hiring and orientation of new employees. Next there is defined a name of employees turnover and a formula for a calculation of a turnover rate. At the practical part there is mentioned a characterization of the company and its attitude for hiring and adaptation of the employees. The Thesis has been always dealt with a cooperation with a human resource department and from not-forma discussions with a long-term employees. After making analysis of the present stage and possible reasons of the fluctuation in VAGONKA, there are given some proposals for its modulation.
