Abstract

The bachelor's thesis deals with the design of a honey extractor drive. The introduction is focused on the principle of operation of the machine and on the description of the main parts of the drive mechanism. The first part deals with other types of honeycombs and the history of beekeeping. The next part deals with the calculation of the required electric motor on the basis of the entered data, the design of the geometry of the worm gearbox, its strength calculation and inspection of bearings. Then the work deals with the selection of a suitable device for speed control and the selection of a shaft coupling. Then the pin connections and the pressure connection are designed and checked. The final part is devoted to the assembly of this drive on a honey extractor and the choice of lubricant.
