Abstract
The thesis deals with the study of numerical simulation of laser welding. The theoretical part describes the technology of laser welding, characterization of the heat source, material S355. The experimental part contains the macroscopic analysis of the welded part and the measurement of the weld joint hardness. The data is compared with the results of the numerical simulation performed in Simufact Welding 8.0. By optimizing the input parameters of the numerical simulation, it is possible to achieve more accurate results and thus better determine the maximum temperatures in the heat affected area (TOO), the weld metal width and the TOO, the formation of material structures during cooling, residual stresses and deformations and hardness.
