Simulace ostřižení výronku s použitím Johnson–Cookova damage modelu

Abstract

OLIVKA, Petr. Simulation of Flash Trimming Using the Johnson–Cook Damage Model: Master's thesis. Ostrava: VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Mechanical Technology, 2024, 72 p. Thesis supervisor: Ing. Ondřej Hilšer, Ph.D. This master's thesis focuses on the numerical simulation of flash trimming using the Johnson–Cook damage model in the Simufact Forming environment. The theoretical part discusses the function of flash grooves, trimming methods, principles of damage modelling, and the finite element method. The practical part includes the simulation of the complete sequence of forming operations from upsetting to flash trimming. The core of the work is the simulation of the cutting process itself, including evaluation of contact, material damage, deformation, and cutting force. The thesis also analyses alternative approaches and proposes measures to reduce the occurrence of post-trimming deformation in the final forging.
