Návrh a realizace laboratorního stanoviště využívající systém elektronické parkovací brzdy (EPB)

Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the analysis and practical implementation of an electronic parking brake (EPB) system using a motor controller communicating over a CAN bus. The introductory section provides a theoretical overview of the EPB system, including its architecture, operating principles, and integration into the electronic systems of modern vehicles. The practi- cal part is dedicated to analyzing a real EPB system in a Škoda Enyaq vehicle, using both serial and parallel diagnostic methods. Subsequently, a test bench simulating the basic functions of the EPB outside the vehicle is designed and constructed. Control logic has been implemented to allow bidirectional motor operation, end-position detection based on current response, and CAN bus com- munication. The result is a fully functional EPB system model suitable for educational purposes and further development.
