Abstract

Bachelor's thesis deals the appreciation of last findings in the field of pedestrian safety. These elements will have to include into all newly manufactured cars. But still is not known, what the protection will be. Bachelor thesis tries assess already developed elements and determine the most effective. At the beginning of the work are given the statistics of accidents in road traffic, and there are evaluated most dangerous parts of the human body. The main part of work is focused on presentment and comparison of several systems of pedestrian protection. It is based on the results of development and testing of security systems manufacturers. In the final section is describe how the tests are provided by independent organizations.
