Abstract
This bachelor thesis with the study of lactic acid bacteria. As part of this work was performed summarizing research findings on these bacteria. The work is focused on the identification and characterization of basic lactic acid bacteria and their division into separate genera, as described cytology, metabolism and environmental importance and use of lactic acid bacteria in biotechnology.
