The thesis deals with numerical modeling medium flow during cooling of hot air slide. In the introduction, the valves are generally described. The next phase is devoted specifically to metallurgical valves. Also described is the hot air slide, which is the subject of the diploma thesis. The thesis describes methods of mathematical modeling and turbulent models. In the last phase, a 3D model and computing network with defined boundary conditions and the application of a mathematical model for flow in the hot air outlet are created. The mathematical modeling results are shown in figures or numerals.
