Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the innovation of the front horn cover production for historical motorcycles theirs brand name is Jawa and ČZ. The front horn cover is the component made of metal sheet using forming technology. For the production of the component is used steel with markings according DC04 (1.0338), the sheet of steel is wound on the roll. This material is suitable for cold forming due to its mechanical properties. Current production in the form of conventional drag and cutting on individual tools has undergone innovations that will streamline the production process. Based on the assessment of technological and manufacturing aspects, a combined forming tool has been designed to enable simultaneous pulling and precision cutting operations to be carried out in one pressing plant per machine working stroke in two forming operations. This method of the production will substantially reduce the total production time of the component and eliminate a large number of additional operations. The output of the research is a technical-economic evaluation where it is assessed whether the proposed solution for the production of the horn cover is economically advantageous.
