Abstract
The bachelor thesis describes construction design of a bridge crane for a garage. Sizes of hall are 9 metres width, 14 metres length and 3,5 metres height. Minimum load of designed crane is 750 kilograms. Type of designed construction is overhead travelling bridge crane by norm EN 1190.
The construction of the crane and crane runway beam has been designed with respect to the low ceiling of the hall.
The crane consists of the following main parts: crane bridge, crane travel, hoists, trolleys, cable trains, crane tracks and guidance means.
The crane travel part consists of running wheels and drivetrain. Electric motors with a gearboxes were used as propulsion devices called also as gearmotors.
The computational part relates to the inspection of the fitting bolts connecting the crane bridge with the crane travel parts and the calculation of the static safety of the designed bolts.
