Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the possibility of using Framatome repair systems to repair leaks, or just as a preventive protection of welds, in the pools of exchange and storage of spent fuel in the nuclear power plants Dukovany and Temelín. The introductory part deals with the basic description of the Dukovany power plant, both the secondary and primary circuit. Furthermore, the work focuses on existing methods of repairing welds at the nuclear power plant, which are divided into temporary and permanent. He will then introduce us to silicone and epoxy-based repair systems. The next part of the work deals with the study of defects on which repair technology can be applied. The experimental part of the work deals with the design and production of test specimens, including the application of repair systems and their non-destructive and destructive testing with digital output of test parameters. The conclusion of the work is devoted to the assessment and evaluation of the results of the tests.
