Abstract

This thesis focuses on the extension of production portfolio with a new type of pergola and preparations to start custom-made production of this product. First, a theoretical basis related to the project, systematic designing and necessary logistic terms are introduced. The other part of the thesis presents the current state analysis containing the production portfolio, market analysis, market competition as well as varnish potential analysis. The company has decided to start custom-made production of a pergola called ARTOSI based on the previous research. Next, the thesis deals with material decomposition of the new product, its technological process and determines the essential machine equipment and tools, material flow, production layout, capacity calculations and a number of required workers. Finally, the project is implemented into production with CPM method.
