Abstract

Annotation of diploma thesis MOCEK, L. Mulit-Purpose Hydraulic Valve for Brakes in Coal Mining Applications: Thesis. Ostrava: VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Hydromechanics and Hydraulic Equipment, 2018, 62 p. Thesis supervisor: Dr. Ing. Miroslav Bova. The aim of my diploma thesis is to improve the existing atributes of the brake valve. It is necessary to reduce its reaction time and possibly optimize the flow of the hydraulic brake valve. This valve is manufactured by LMR, s. r. o., Frýdek-Místek. The brake valve is installed in the BT30, BTs, and Bts-DUO series brakes cart used in mining applications for the transport of persons and equipment. The new valve should have the same installation dimensions. The new brake valve must serve as a safety hydraulic valve to indicate that the system's operating pressure is exceeded. Subsequently, an automatic safety feature with an emergency stop function of the entire train shall be performed in the event of an uncontrolled overrun of the permitted speed.
