Abstract
This bachelor thesis deals with describing and engraving of different materials by laser device. The theoretical part deals with the description of the device, the overview of the basic types of lasers, the possibilities of setting their process parameters, the design solution, the method of leaving the marker mark and the applications in which the laser device is used. In practical part of work, I deal on marking and engraving of different types of materials and assessment of optimal conditions for setting of laser equipment. The experiment is carried out on steel ČSN 11 373, aluminum alloy EN AW 7075, XT plexiglass, gases and cardboard. Each sample was subjected to laser marking at different power and feed rates.
