Cesta k úspěchu: Detekování faktorů zvyšujících přijetí absolventa právnické fakulty do advokacie

Abstract

The thesis focuses on identifying key factors that increase the likelihood of law graduates being accepted for employment in the field of advocacy. The aim is to determine whether academic results and degrees are the sole or decisive criteria in the recruitment process. The study is based on qualitative research conducted through semi-standardized interviews with representatives of six selected Czech law firms. The results highlight four main areas in candidate evaluation: qualifications and education, practical experience and skills, personal characteristics, and motivation with long-term potential. The thesis also provides a detailed insight into the recruitment procedures in advocacy and reflects the preparedness level of current graduates. The findings have practical implications for law students and can serve as a basis for improving their employability in the labor market.
