Abstract
The master thesis deals with the design of the planetary gearbox for the microtunelling device. In the beginning, there is located a description of microtunelling and planetary gearbox. According to requirements, suitable hydro motor and planetary gear are selected. After that, the force analysis is done. Gears are verified by strength analysis. Strength analysis of planetary gearbox pin and output transmission shaft is done. Followed by the design of a suitable axial solution for the force transmission. Bearing life of this gearbox is further included in this thesis. Attachment of the gearbox is also solved in here. In the final part, there is placed the assembly process. Assembly drawing and manufacturing drawing of the output shaft are included in the attachment.
