Abstract

This thesis is devoted to the analysis and evaluation of the employee benefits system at a selected business corporation. The theoretical section of the thesis first defines the theoretical foundations of compensation and human resource management. It then examines the significance of employee benefits, the methods by which they are provided, and their role in the employee motivation system, while also presenting key theories of motivation. Attention is also given to a detailed analysis of the accounting and tax aspects of providing benefits from the perspective of both the employee and the employer. The practical part of the thesis focuses on the analysis and evaluation of the existing employee benefits system at X, a.s. The primary basis for this analysis is a questionnaire survey that examines employee satisfaction levels and their preferences for the future development of the system. Based on the statistical data obtained and the analyses conducted, the conclusion of the thesis formulates specific proposals and recommendations for the company aimed at optimizing and effectively developing the entire benefits system.
