Návrh metodiky zkoušek odolnosti proti opotřebení pro vybrané materiály železničních kol

Abstract

Submitted Master's thesis deals with theoretical analysis of initiation and propagation of cracks focusing on contact fatigue, overview of test rigs, used for the purposes of realization of contact fatigue and wear resistance tests. The practical part deals with realization of wear resistance tests for selected materials including the proposal of the testing methodology. The wear resistance tests were realized with cooperation of Bonatrans Group Inc. based in Bohumín. The wear resistance tests were performed on twin-disc test rig, manufactured by INOVA company. Proposed testing methodology takes into account not only the parameters of the test in itself (maximum Herty contact pressure, slip), but also the material properties of tested specimen and their geometry.
